Let’s face it: finding, buying, and renovating a home is always a stressful experience that is accompanied by the constant feeling that everyone is trying to pick your pockets… at least that’s what we used to think.
We were referred to Jo Ann by a friend as we prepared to move from New York to Los Angeles. After our initial meeting, Jo Ann spent many weeks helping us select the right area and find a home to suit our needs and tastes. She advised us on neighborhoods with great candor and wasn’t shy about steering us away from houses she didn’t think we’d be happy with longer-term. Once we found the right home, she shepherded us through the buying process, always keeping a watchful eye on our pockets. And now that we’ve moved in, she continues to refer us to contractors and service providers that she’s vetted over the years.
In short, Jo Ann has made our second home purchase (and cross-country move) much more enjoyable and comfortable. So, if you want someone to tell you what they honestly think, someone who isn’t afraid to take off the gloves when fighting for you, and someone who doesn’t believe in nonsense, then you want Jo Ann. I suspect she’ll become your Realtor for life. (You can never retire, Jo Ann! At least not until you help us move again.)
